Entering the Museum
The Museum entrance and floors are accessible to visitors using wheeled devices or who have mobility difficulties.
Service Animals
Service animals on a leash and under their owner’s control are welcome.
During Your Visit
FAM has one manual wheelchair which may be checked out free-of-charge, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The use of personal mobility devices and motorized vehicles is permitted on the lowest speed setting.
Just for Families
Changing tables are now available in both the women’s and men’s restrooms. We allow breastfeeding and bottle-feeding. Please ask at the front desk for recommended areas or use our Sculpture Garden, weather permitting.
Parking
Parking is free in the City-owned lot in front of the building and on the side street on Yale. Beware that parking is not monitored by Museum staff. It is recommended that you lock your vehicle and that you NOT leave anything in plain sight in your vehicle. FAM cannot be held responsible for any theft or vandalism.
