The Human Touch:
Selections from the RBC Wealth Management Art Collection

A collection of figurative art in a variety of media by many internationally known contemporary masters. The show was as diverse as Fresno itself, as the figurative subjects are all unique and the artists are from a multitude of backgrounds. Artists included Chuck Close, Bette Saar, Hung Liu, Roy Lichtenstein, Viola Frey, Roland Fischer, Jim Dine, Kehinde Wiley, and others. The show is owned and sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada’s Wealth Management Division.
Tracey Adams: Between Gesture and Geometry

Tracey Adams’ medium is encaustic painting (pigments mixed with hot wax) and she has stated that she is “drawn to patterns, puzzles, geometry and the endless connections I'm able to make within that realm.” Work included installations and wall art. Jerrie Peters: Contemplating My Muses

Local artist, Jerrie Peters described her assemblage work as an “homage to” paintings that have served as an inspiration to her for a long period of time. Various inspirations for this body of work were from Georgia O'Keeffe, Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Matisse, Wayne Thiebaud, Chagall, and numerous other well-known artists.
