Birthday Parties for Children at FAM
Celebrate your child’s birthday with a theme inspired by one of our current exhibitions.
From August 2023 through January 7, 2024 you can choose a party theme based on Maurice Sendak’s Wild Things or Mary' Blair's Cinderella, Peter Pan, or Alice in Wonderland.
All parties Include party space in our classroom and/or sculpture garden, tables and chairs, a kid-friendly tour of the galleries with FAM Art instructors, and a fun and engaging art project for each child to take home, all based on the chosen theme. Parties are designed for children ages 3 to 12. Just add your own invitations, food, cake, linens, plates and utensils, table decor, games, and guests!
Wild Things Themed Party
Children will get to explore this interactive exhibition and create their own mask inspired by their favorite wild thing. All art materials and instruction will be supplied by FAM.
Cinderella Themed Party
Children will make their very own tiara or crown that they can use their imaginations to decorate. FAM will provide instruction and a selection of embellishments to add to the headpiece.
Peter Pan Themed Party
Children can make their very own custom-made pirate or Peter Pan hat to decorate and wear. FAM supplies all the materials to make wearable paper hats and embellishments.
Alice in Wonderland Themed Party
Children will create a collage utilizing a playing card to create a character their own unique card-person, suitable for framing. Includes all art materials and instruction plus an 8" x 10" frame to decorate.
Create Your Own Theme and FAM will come up with an art project for the children that matches.
