Virtual Gallery of Third Grade Art for Fresno Unified School District

Since 2014, the Fresno Art Museum has been hosting special third grade tours for nearly 6,000 children annually from the Fresno Unified School District through a Kennedy Center program called Any Given Child. In the past, we have ended the school year with an event whereby we hung a selection of the third-grade art which was inspired by those tours in our classroom and invited the students and their families to come view a selection of the artwork in the Museum.

Of course, the 2020/21 school year had been a bit different. We did not see one child in the building. But the students still had field trips throughout the year, they were just virtual rather than being in-person. And they still created plenty of artworks. In fact, we have scanned in over 1,200 artworks and poems and we feature them in class galleries here-- just click on the school name* below.

Do you want to keep an image you see? You can click on the one you want during the slide rotation and right-click on a PC, control-shift on a Mac, or you can do a screen capture and save the image. Images are looped and will repeat.

Enjoy!

*Note that not every school, nor every teacher, nor every child participated. If you think your child's artwork is missing, please email a quality scan or clear photo of the image and text, along with their first name, teacher name, and school name and we shall add it to the gallery for your child's school.
