Drawn from the Museum’s collection of the artist’s work, the ”Narcissus Pentology” consists of five parts, each of which addresses itself to a particular view of the artist. The first, Homage to Paul Apostle, was carved from four blocks of marble and represents a self-portrait as seen through the eyes of another while the second section, Vatican Corridor, represented in this exhibition by Cremean’s preparatory drawings, is how the artist sees himself.
