Apostle
surrounded by the
Preparatory Drawings for Vatican

Lobby Gallery
Drawn from the Museum’s collection of the artist’s work, the ”Narcissus Pentology” consists of five
parts, each of which addresses itself to a particular view of the artist. The
first, Homage to Paul Apostle, was
carved from four blocks of marble and represents a self-portrait as seen
through the eyes of another while the second section, Vatican Corridor, represented in this exhibition by Cremean’s
preparatory drawings, is how the artist sees himself.
