Golden Age Films

The Golden Age Films program at Fresno Art Museum higlights classical movies of Hollywood's Golden Age. Classic movies enthusiasts wil enjoy both an afternoon of art and movies held at the Bonner Auditorium. The film screenings are selected by our staff and the film genres range from drama and comedy to suspense.

Schedule: Every second Wednesday of the month at 2:00pm. FREE with price of Museum admission.

Anime

Fresno Anime The Fresno Art Museum in conjunction with the Fresno Anime Club is now holding Anime film screenings on Bonner Auditorium every month.  This FAM program is geared toward junior high school to college students.  Everybody is welcome to the screening.

The event is free (FAM admission applies at the door) and all films are subtitled in English.

Latino Film Festival

The Fresno Art Museum (FAM) in partnership with the Mexican Consulate of Fresno host an annual Latino Film Festival, the first of its kind in the Central Valley. The project is a continuing endeavor to address cultural awareness and exhibit the contemporary Latino influence and vision in the medium of cinema to the community of the Central Valley. The festival will feature films from Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Ecuador and Colombia. It will also highlight short films and documentaries by local filmmakers.

All feature films are subtitled in English.

Stay tuned for the 2nd Annual Latino Film Festival to be held in October 2008. 

International Cine Forum and Art Cinema Series

Club LatinoAmericano presents International Cine Forum, a cultural/educational/artistic project in collaboration with The Fresno Art Museum. Emphasis in Latin American films will inform and educate about past and present achievements of those countries in the cinematography arts. Films will be presented every other month and a moderated open forum will follow to share comments, critiques, and opinions about the film.
